About Chris

Chris is a graduate of the Personal Financial Planning program at Kansas State University.
Before entering his current role as a financial advisor, Chris lived in Philadelphia, PA and
worked at one of the largest financial institutions in the country. He then traveled back to
Manhattan, KS to be closer to home, where he further developed his skills as a financial
planner. Chris became a Keating and Associates advisor in 2021 and worked closely with his
father-in-law, Mark Queen, prior to Mark’s 2023 departure. He now works with his clients as a
Keating & Associates advisor partner.

Chris believes that each of his past experiences were valuable learning opportunities which
helped him develop into the financial professional he is today. From his knowledge about
indexing and passive investing to his experience in financial planning software used to build
plans for clients, Chris is well-equipped to take on the challenges his clients face.

In his role, Chris’s ultimate goal is to be a catalyst in helping individuals, families, and
companies plan and utilize their money in ways that bring them fulfilment, joy, and purpose. To
accomplish this, Chris leverages his analytical strengths and planning skills to ensure all
available options have been considered, so that the best recommendations can be made for the
client’s future. Whether a client needs adjustments made to a detailed and complex plan, or
they need help developing a plan from scratch to gain clarity about their finances and future,
Chris is eager to assist in any way he can for a wide range of clients.

Chris grew up in Manhattan, KS and married his high school sweetheart, Kristen, in 2017. The
couple welcomed their first born, Jonah, in 2022 and their second child, Theo, in 2024. They
also have an energetic dog named Harper. Chris is a life-long K-state fan and enjoys attending
sporting events as often as he can. He is a member of Faith Manhattan Church. Chris is also
actively working on his bucket list item to visit all MLB ballparks across the country, and his
current count is 19 out of 30 ballparks!
